Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is typically taken in the 10th or 11th grade (College Board, 2016d).
Similar to the SAT, the PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 10 include three components: (a) Reading, (b) Writing and Language, and (c) Math.
